Brown Burro Cafe in Fairplay

This established restaurant provides a rustic atmosphere, friendly service and really good food for the travelers along state highway 9 in Fairplay, CO. Excellent breakfast, I recommend the mountain scrambler or the high country breakfast, but really all the food is fantastic. Highly recommend the biscuits and gravy.

Definitely a hidden gem! The service is spectacular and the food is outstanding. Plan on a small wait but worth every minute.

The breakfast burrito was excellent. The home made cinnamon roll was excellent too. My wife said the coffee was very good. The order was ready for pick up on time. Great place. I would eat here again

Please dont go unless you wanna wait for multiple hours for food that upsets ur whole families stomach, and cold dry meat. Horrible experience and I highly suggest avoiding this restraunt.

It was good, friendly people, good coffee, and good prices. Don't come here if you are in a hurry, do come here if you want to take time, drink coffee and have a good hardy breakfast. (Coffee cup was kept full the entire meal so big kudos for that!)

Friendly fast service, place is small, alot of local people visit here. I can see why because the food is awesome.

The food was pretty good but I waited 30 plus minutes to get seated. Then I waited over 1and 30 minutes to get food.

From the moment we walked in the host was extremely kind. I have several diet restrictions and he took time to go above and beyond to explain my options. Our server was extremely friendly and the food was great! Highly recommend!

Great food and people. If you need any information about anything, most of all locals come here. Definitely worth your time and money. Make sure you get your picture with the South Park characters.

This is like an old dinner. The food was flavorful and so we're the customers. The servers were young zoomers and they know how to handle the boomers. It is now my new favorite place to eat. You can get breakfast and lunch here. We will definitely be going back.
